Jubilee | Birthday Card

As you guys know, my friend Peppermint (One Little Bird) is awesome. She designed a birthday kit called "Jubilee" (in her Oscraps store now for 20% off until July 10th).

When she showed me the party hats when she was working on them, I may or may not have squealed in delight. I love the party hats! And I love the colors in this kit, it's right up my alley.

So this time I decided to go hybrid with her "Jubilee" kit and made a birthday card.

Supplies used: Jubilee digital kit by One Little Bird; Aqua Blue Baker's Twine by Divine Twine; Tim Holtz Tonic scissors; Martha Stewart Crafts Scoring Board; Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher; Fiskars Scallop Sentiments border punch; Therm.O.Web 3D Foam Squares adhesive; Mini Glue Dots; 3M Scotch Adhesive Dot Roller; Bazzill Basics white cardstock Orange Peel texture; Canon Matte Photo Paper.

Making this card was actually fairly easy. I first created a 5.5 x 4.25 canvas in Photoshop (that's the size of a standard handmade greeting card front). Then I just made the card in Photoshop first. Then I created another canvas in Photoshop that's 8.5 x 11 inches. I dragged all my individual elements from my card photoshop file into my 8.5 x 11 print file and laid them out individually. Then I just printed it out on Canon Matte Photo Paper, cut the pieces out and assembled and adhered them onto my Bazzill cardstock base.

For a limited time, you can receive the Party On! add-on for free if you're a One Little Bird newsletter subscriber, or Facebook fan. No purchase necessary. Please go to Peppermint's blog for details!
