As I said in one of my recent posts, my husband Todd surprised me with a new computer as an anniversary gift recently. I love it so much and it’s so fast compared to my old computer, which I got in 2008. BUT, migrating to a new computer is never that fun, since you have to install all your programs and move databases such as my entire Lightroom catalog, my entire Silhouette Studio cutting files, etc. Todd completed the total migration of my computer this weekend. We also did some serious house cleaning and organizing in preparation of having friends come stay with us next week. All that is to say, I didn’t have time to blog or get creative this weekend. I actually finished week 25 last weekend and just didn’t have time to blog it.
On to Project Life Week 25.
Left side – this was the week we went to dinner & church with Monika, and I spent the entire weekend re-organizing my craft studio.
Week 25 title slot. I used a title card from the Clementine Core Kit, some Elle’s Studio tags, punched out some starbursts with my Martha Stewart punch, and the camera is Studio Calico wood veneer cameras.
On the left I used one of my grid journal cards that I had pre-stamped with a days of the week Ali Edwards stamp a while ago. Cut it out and adhered it to a piece of patterned paper. On the right is an Elle’s Studio printable striped journal card.
A photo collage of my craft studio organization.
Adhered a photo to a stamped polaroid frame from the Studio Calico Epic stamp set (no longer available). On the right I stamped the camera twice, while inking only once, so that the image on the upper right is faded. I added washi tape and a Studio Calico wood veneer heart, which I covered with red ink and pink Stickles.
Right side – We celebrated Summer Solstice by going out to dinner and taking a walk at the lake afterwards. Love longer summer days when we can do stuff outside after work!
Some funny journaling about Noodle.
Stapled the Elle’s Studio “hello sunshine” tag onto a sheet of Dear Lizzy cloud vellum paper and made a pocket for the chopstick cover at Kappa Sushi.
Wrote directly on the photo using my American Crafts Slick Writer pens. I love them for this purpose!
That’s it for Project Life Week 25. I still need to finish up Week 26. After that I’m changing directions with Project Life and I’ll talk about that in a future blog post.
How are you doing with your Project Life? And if you are not doing PL, are you considering it?
