February 2014 Month-In-Review

Workouts:  running, walking, T25 Alpha (Cardio, Speed 1.0, Total Body Circuit, Ab Intervals, Lower Focus), T25 Beta (Core Cardio), 30 Day Shred

Pounds lost:  0 (Lost 2 lbs and then gained it back. First month of braces was difficult to eat veggies & fruits as snacks.) 

Books read:  still reading "Radar, Hula Hoops, and Playful Pigs: 67 Digestible Commentaries on the Fascinating Chemistry of Everyday Life" by Joe Schwarcz, although I’m almost finished.  Bought “Modern Calligraphy” by Molly Suber Thorpe and started reading it.

Movies seen:  Oz The Great & Powerful, Crazy Stupid Love (again), The Avengers (again), When Harry Met Sally (again), Star Trek II: Wrath of Khan (again), Trekkies: Star Trek Fan Documentary

TV watched:  Almost Human, Super Bowl, New Girl, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Sherlock Season 3, GMA, Kelly & Michael, Buckeye basketball, CBS Sunday Morning, Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Agents of SHIELD, Perception (it’s finally back!)

Places ate at:  Mama’s Lebanese Bakery, Buona Forchetta, Panera, Wings N Things, Pho Hoang Express, Punjabi Tandoor, Miguel’s Cocina, Burger Lounge, Chile Peppers, Bongiornos, In-N-Out Burger, Rosina’s, Phil’s BBQ

Crafty/Bloggy things:  re-organized craft room, re-organized Project Life journal cards, made a new blog banner, contacted by Flow Magazine about using my IG photos in their special DIY issue, worked on Project life pages & blogged them, made Todd birthday & Valentine’s cards, “re-kitted” all my Studio Calico kits, also pulled papers & embellishments from the same collections together so I can use them like kits.

Significant events:  Got a haircut (first in 4 months), had our annual performance reviews, got promoted, got a Roomba, went to the orthodontist 3x and the dentist 2x, spent $800 fixing the Prelude, Valentine’s dinner at home, ran 6 miles, took 2 Fridays off work, submitted 2014 budget at work, Todd’s birthday & dinner at Buona Forchetta, started 2013 tax filings, nice phone convo with dad in remembrance of mom, they changed the Tostada Grande at work cafeteria and now it’s ruined, Todd attended first meeting at Salesforce Developer User Group, Todd had jury duty but didn’t get picked for a trial.

  1. As usual you were very busy and note lots of categories.
    Actually you're monthly review inspired me to make a 'Monthly Numbers' 3x4 for my project life. THEN I went wild in February and did a YEAR TO DATE monthly numbers card. haha
    It included # of gym workouts, #of home workouts, #miles, # cards #layouts.
    I like seeing the progress and I believe it will help me stay fit and active and creative.
