Organization | IKEA Raskog Cart
I’ve been wanting the cute turquoise Raskog cart from IKEA for a while now. In the past, it was not in stock at the IKEA in San Diego. However, I checked online a couple of week ago, and they had it in stock! So I took a vacation day on Friday 1/25 and made a date with my local scrapbook friend Pearl to meet up at IKEA. "

Pearl and I had brunch at IKEA. She had breakfast food, while I couldn’t resist the Swedish meatballs.
I got home and put my carts together. I actually bought two carts. One for my craft studio upstairs, and one for all-purpose use downstairs.
It was not difficult to put them together myself. The first one took about 45 minutes. The second one was a lot faster.
Hello Raskog!
I decided to make my upstairs Raskog cart a Project Life station. I filled the top tray with my Studio Calico kit, date stamps, ink, pens, and my Clementine Project Life kit. The scrapbook kit is organized into a clear upright paper sorter I purchased from Staples. You can also get it online at Amazon.
Closer look at the top tray.
The middle and bottom trays have Antonius divided organizers in them. The middle one is filled with 3x4 and 4x6 journal cards and cardstock, 6x6 paper pads, and washi tape. The Antonius has compartments that are PERFECTLY sized for the journal cards!
The bottom one is filled with various smaller pieces of labels and journal cards I use for Project Life.
I love that I can roll the Raskog cart to different areas of the house, and that my Project Life supplies are contained in one place!

So cool. Are the large plastic dividers from Ikea? If they are I believe I have those. Great that they fit in the cart you bought. I'll have to look around at Ikea sometime soon.

ReplyDeleteI'm heading to IKEA this weekend! :)
Just curious...Will the Antonius divided organizer fit in the top tray of the cart with that clear upright paper sorter you have there?
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately they don't both fit in the top tray. The tray is about an inch too narrow for them to both fit. Hope that helps!
DeleteLove this idea ! So neat looking. Does it roll on carpet pretty well?
ReplyDeleteThanks
Nanci
Hi Nanci - it does roll on carpet pretty well. But my carpet is short berber.
