Week In The Life | Sunday

Yay, last day of Week In The Life!  It wasn't that I didn't enjoy it.  Maybe I would have enjoyed it more if I hadn't gotten so sick.  So it's a win that I even completed a whole week, I guess.

This morning we went to Urgent Care, because I woke up and wasn't feeling any better. Also because when I talked to Todd's dad last night about my symptoms (he's an M.D.), he told me that I most likely have an infection. So off to Urgent Care we went at 8:30 AM. The urgent care is in the same building as my regular doctor. This is my third visit to Urgent Care in the last few years, and they are always very friendly there and I get seen almost right away all the time. They did a strep throat test and it was negative. The doctor said I most likely have a sinus infection again, so he sent me for a quick x-ray of my sinuses. Afterwards he told me, yep, I have a sinus infection. He gave me a prescription for anti-biotics. I'm so bummed that this is my second sinus infection this year! I hardly ever get sick normally! Ugh!

After Urgent Care, Todd took me to Panera for breakfast.

Then we went to Costco to pick up my photos, plus chicken and fruits. Of course while we're there, Todd had to stop by the food court outside and get his churro and Coke. Nice shirt!

I've never seen the food court so empty of lines. But then again it was still early.

Meat department.

We came home and I took a nap. So did Noodle. I found him on his perch.

I also found Noodle later by the weight bench.

After napping for hours, I finally got up around 4:00 PM and started working on my Project Life album.

Noodle came up into the upstairs hallway to see what I was up to, and also to pounce on poor old Scooby Doo.

An hour and a half later, I felt exhausted but my album was filled with almost 70 new photos. Still need to do the journaling though.

Took a break and watched "Hoarders". I started watching it yesterday and couldn't take my eyes away from the train wrecks. Then Todd and I watched tonight's episode of True Blood Season 4 Ep 6. Then I ate some dinner and finally processed photos from both yesterday and today and sat down to blog. I plan to go to bed soon because I need to kick this sinus infection to the curb.

Week In The Life | Saturday

I took 35 photos on Saturday but I felt too sick in the evening to upload/process/blog them.

A lot of times in the morning when I come out of our bedroom, I'll find Noodle next door in the craft studio, on my smaller craft table.

I had some cereal and iced coffee for breakfast.

Around 10:30 AM we drove down to Harbor Island to run, as a change to our usual running scenery. Well, Todd ran and I walked, because my head was all stuffed up. It was a cloudy day, but the views were still awesome, just different than the "Sunny San Diego" that we know.

Tom Ham's Lighthouse Restaurant.

Sheraton Marina.

Todd and I crossing paths.

San Diego jutting out in the distance.

Running into Todd again.

Me walking, one foot in front of the other.

Finally I got back to the car and sat on a bench to enjoy the view of the bay, and Todd came back as well.

The best part of the day... lunch at Point Loma Seafoods! Even though I couldn't smell the food very well, so it wasn't quite as enjoyable as usual.

My scallop sandwich.

Todd's halibut sandwich.

Driving home on Harbor Drive.

We hung out on the couch a lot the rest of the day.

Well, I should say I did a lot, since I'm sick. Todd did a lot of house work actually. I finished picking out photos for my last four weeks of Project Life, then uploaded them to Costco. Went to pick up my photos at 7:00 PM, but they closed at 6:00 PM. Doh!

Week In The Life | Friday

It's Friday, Friday... Today I woke up all stuffed up in the head and not in shape to go to work, so I tried to work from home for a little while but was not feeling too good.

Iced coffee and steel-cut oats for breakfast again.

Went over to the couch to watch some Good Morning America. Debbie Gibson and Tiffany are on tour this summer??!

Found Noodle on the foyer cabinet again. He wanted some petting so he wiggled around and actually fell off!

I'm okay! I'm okay!

I told Todd that today was going to be a super-boring Week In The Life entry, unless he wanted to step in and take some photos of his day. So he did.

His company's monthly breakfast was today, and the theme was beach breakfast.

He didn't eat any because he doesn't like breakfast foods.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch... I took a lot of naps on the couch and drank lots of water.

Ate some leftovers for lunch.

Found Noodle amongst the free weights again. What is so great about this "house of weights"?? Strange cat.

Later, I couldn't find Noodle, until I looked closely and found a lump inside the curtain, on top of my Reebok step.

How is this a great place to take a nap?? Weird cat.

In the afternoon, when my head, nose, and throat finally felt a little better, I moved over to the office and decided to put all the stuff on my desk into a box.

So the stuff isn't on my desk anymore. I'll deal with the box later.

Meanwhile, Todd went for a hilly stationary bike workout at his work gym... Here's before working out.

Here's after. What a funny guy.

Todd got to come home earlier because he had to work at 7pm tonight to deploy a software. So we were both in the office together. I was picking photos for Project Life.

He was processing photos that he took at Lestat's last night.

Dinner was a combination of veggie stir fry leftovers and a couple of tacos that Todd picked up from Rubios.

Noodle likes to sit on his perch and watch us eat dinner.

After dinner Todd got on the deployment conference call and started deploying his software.

Laundry.

I went upstairs to the craft studio to plan out my next pages for Project Life. I needed to figure out how many photos to print out.

Then I processed photos from today and am blogging now. Very exciting Friday night indeed! :p
